Ambitious Counter-Strike mod suspends launch after alleged Valve response



The team behind an ambitious Counter-Strike: Global Offensive mod has delayed the project's release, claiming that Valve has contacted them over concerns that it might not comply with the company's guidelines. Classic Offensive has been in the works since 2016, with a dedicated group of fans aiming to bring back the feeling of Counter-Strike 1.6 by changing the weapons, sounds, and stats of the multiplayer shooter.
