The solution to CS:GO's problems is s1mple, he says

We know it's all too easy to blame the game itself when something isn't quite going your way, but if you're struggling to win in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, you might find that it actually is the game that's part of the reason behind that. Valve doesn't update CSGO all too often and when it does the community always finds out there's more than one major issue unresolved. Of course, it's hard to fix a game with so many moving parts, but it looks like pro player Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev has had enough of waiting around to see his beloved shooter fixed. S1mple has put the developers on blast with claims that he could fix CSGO with a "few millions".

Following a CSGO update that temporarily stripped players of their ranks in-game, S1mple took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the current state of the game - and it's safe to say that he is less than happy with how things are going.

To summarise, s1mple has stated that with a "few millions", he would be able to improve Valve's shooter, "not only professionally, but also for players who rarely log in [to CSGO] and want to enjoy the game". In his social media post on the matter, he reiterated that he was "not kidding" - adding that he would be able to improve player numbers at the very least.
