Welcome to the Xonotic Duel Ladder!

Here's some rules:
Standard XPM ruleset (with g_machinegun_reload 0)
Maps picked with drop-drop-pick-pick-drop-drop-pick. Player who recieved the challenge picks first.

Server should be decided as a best ping offering. +/-10ms is acceptable, either player can request fakelag be used by their opponent in the case of missmatched ping (net_fakelag x)

Game	Xonotic	The name of the game being played.
Status	Live	The status indicates whether or not a competitor can join a ladder, this may change at any time for various reasons.
Challenge Type	Versus Challenge	The type of ladder challenge participants compete or complete to win.
Match Type	Duel	The match type being played.
Admission	Public	The ladder is public and open to all-comers.
Rounds	3	The number of rounds competitors must complete to win a ladder challenge.
Authentication	Not Required	If authentication is required you will have to successfully login to the account you intend to compete with. You have this option in your Account Settings.
Map Selection	When Scheduled	When or how maps are selected for a ladder challenge.
Challenge Revoke	8 Hour Lapse	The number of hours that must lapse before a ladder challenge can be revoked.
Forced Forfeits	Disabled	The number of hours a challenge can go unanswered before the challenged opponent is forced to forfeit.

1.00	When enabled, competitors can challenge an opponent ranked the same or above them while simultaneously defending their current rank from competitors ranked below them.
1.10	Competitors can challenge and be challenged 5 positions above or below their current rank.
1.11	The number of ranks a competitor can challenge above them increases with their winning streak.
1.20	The challenging competitor submits their map choices with the challenge. The defending competitor submits their own map choices when accepting the challenge.
1.21	The challenging competitor requests 2 dates they prefer to play, and from those 2 dates the defending competitor selects when to schedule the match.
1.30	Challenge revoking is enabled 8 hours after a challenge is unanswered.
1.40	Defending competitors have the option to decline any challenge. A declined challenge is recorded as a win for the challenging competitor and a loss for the defending competitor.

3.00	Challenge results are allowed to be reported by both competitors.
3.10	Reporting challenge results requires the score of both competitors and screenshots for proof of each round.
3.20	Intentionally reporting incorrect results, or cheating in any manner will result in a ban from this ladder and potentially the site depending on the severity of your infractions.
3.30	Reported results can be disputed for a limited time. If a competitor issues a new challenge they lose the ability to dispute their last match.
3.31	In the event of a dispute ladder staff may request and review evidence provided by one or both competitors in order to come to a resolution.
3.32	When a disputed match is under review neither competitor can continue to participate until it is resolved.

4.00	Competitors win challenges by winning best of 3 rounds.
4.10	Challenges award winners with points and take points from losers.
4.20	Higher ranked competitors award more points than lower ranked competitors.
4.30	Being defeated by a lower ranked competitor will cost more points than being defeated by a higher rank.
4.50	Forced forfeits are disabled.
4.51	Forfeits cost competitors 10% more points than a loss, with no additional bonus to the opponent.
4.52	A consecutive forfeit will cost 50% more points than a loss, with no additional bonus to the opponent.
4.53	A competitor's third consecutive forfeit will result in a suspension and no additional bonus to the opponent.

2.00	Both competitors should try to contact the other to resolve any logistics for the challenge (e.g. servers, reschedules or changes). Direct messages on the site are the default form of communication.
2.10	If a mutual server is not available, competitors will play their opponent's map on a server of their preference.
2.20	Competitors get a grace period of 20 minutes from any agreed on time. If a competitor is not ready within this time then the attending competitor can report a forfeit.
